Title: Technology and equipment for production of freeze-dried, spray-dried and frozen starter cultures for dairy products

Abstract: A leading Bulgarian company with a tradition in scientific research, production and export of dairy products is seeking a technology and equipment for production of freeze-dried, spray-dried and frozen starter cultures for dairy products. The company is looking for technology and equipment with technical support for lyophilisation of the starter cultures.

Description: The requesting company has a leading position in the Bulgarian dairy industry; in the exportation of know-how, technologies and starter cultures for Bulgarian yoghourt and dairy products; and in the exportation of white and yellow cheese. The company owns intellectual properties in the field of the dairy industry. The company has two production units and a modern centre of scientific research and development, where new generation of starter cultures and formulas for healthy foods has been developed during the last 10 years. A collection of over 900 lactic acid bacteria and more than 100 different combinations of starter cultures is also preserved there. The company wants to broaden the range of its products by adopting a technology and equipment for lyophilisation of freeze-dried, spray-dried, frozen starter cultures for dairy products and probiotics. Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements: The technology and the equipment for lyophilisation should guarantee long-term preservation of the starter cultures for dairy products and probiotics. The technology could be in the testing stage or already on the market.
