Title: High-pressure micropump

Abstract: A UK company is currently looking for capability in micropump design and development. The pump will form part of a new sensor system. The company is looking for an industrial firm or technical centre, a designer and/or manufacturer of micropumps to join an industrial collaborative to co-develop and supply the new sensor.

Description: A small UK research and development company, active in the development of instruments for the measurement of temperature, viscosity and magnetic parameters is involved in a project to develop a new sensor system. The system requires the inclusion of a high-pressure micropump with the following typical specification for such a device: a small working volume (0.5 - 1 ml) and output of 0.05 - 1 ml/s at pressures up to 300 Bar. Companies capable of supplying or developing this type of micropump are invited to offer their participation in the project and in the supply of the new sensor system.
