Title: Technology to keep the physical quality of trouts

Abstract: One of the major aquaculture companies of Turkey is looking for a technology to keep the trout quality at the best level for optimum 2 days during the transportation from the fishery to the processing plant. The technology can be physical, chemical or a machine. The company is looking for an urgent solution; therefore the technology should be ready to apply immediately. The company is looking for commercial agreements with technical assistance or technical cooperation agreements.

Description: One of the biggest aquaculture companies of Turkey has a long distance between the fisheries where they grow trouts in fresh water and the fish processing facilities. Because of this distance, there is a transportation period after the trouts are taken from the fishery and sent to the processing facility. During this transportation period which can be up to 40 hours sometimes, the texture and some physical desired properties of the trout is lost. The fish loses its hard texture that it has at the death stage and the meat of the fish gets softer. This is not a desired situation by the company and therefore a solution is needed. One of the most important issues about the solution is to be ready to use because the company's search for the solution is urgent. Technical Specifications / Specific technical requirements: The solution can include some treatment methods with chemical drugs that will not have any other side effects. Similarly, the solution can be a mechanical or physical solution as well. Some physical application on the fish can be used. This physical application can also include some special transportation techniques. A machine to be used after the fish is killed can be an alternative solution and the companies open to such offers.
